Cathy Lanier, Chief of Police, and Jacob Kishter, Third District Commander, have confirmed their attendance at the upcoming ANC 2F meeting on Wednesday, October 2, 2013. Lanier and Kishter will join Councilmember Jack Evans (Ward 2) in leading a community discussion about the recent rash of gun violence in parts of ANC 2F.
MPD is expected to provide updates on the incidents in question, as well as discuss current prevention efforts. The meeting will begin promptly at 6:30 p.m. at the Washington Plaza Hotel (10 Thomas Circle, NW). There will be limited seating.
