A couple of items from Logan Circle Citizens Association:

Wednesday, June 26—Shop Whole Foods Market “5% Day” and Support the Logan Circle Heritage Trail!  Shoppers at the Whole Foods Market at 1440 P Street, NW, can support the kickoff of the long-anticipated Logan Circle Heritage Trail simply by buying groceries! Whole Foods announced that it would donate five percent of its net store sales on Wednesday, June 26, to LCCA. LCCA volunteers and Heritage Trail partners from Cultural Tourism DC will celebrate June 26 at Whole Foods by talking to customers about the forthcoming Trail.  (Read more about the Heritage Trail Dedication events we have planned in July below.) WHAT:         Whole Foods Market donates five percent of the P Street store’s net sales to LCCA in support of the Logan Circle Heritage Trail. Tuesday, July 2—“First Tuesday” Happy Hour Get your Fourth of July Holiday kicked off early at July’s “First Tuesday” Happy Hour, from 6 to 8 pm, at Black Whiskey, 1410 14th Street, NW.  We’ll meet downstairs in the gallery space at this new bar, where we’ll enjoy appetizers, happy hour drink prices, and catching up with friends from the neighborhood.  Oh yes, did we mention whiskey?
