La Colombe Cafe Manager, Greg Smith has graciously agreed to host our meeting in their spaces at 924 Rear N Street NW. Note the Cafe closes at 7PM. This location will suit us well as:
Thursday's meeting is intended to focus on the new development for 917 M Street and 1212 9th Street.
Brook Katzen and team from SB-Urban will present their latest plans for the proposed development. There was a preliminary review given at the March CDC meeting. They will show us their latest plans prior to engaging the ANC on Zoning and Historic approvals required for the project.

Utility Connections for the Gang of Three/Pepco
This is a heads up to all that this utility work will begin today (digging in the alley to install a conduit for Pepco) going from the back of the Gang of Three on the Blagden Alley side of their buildings behind 9th Street. The work will proceed north and take a left heading west in the wide part of the alley past Rouge 24 and La Colombe, then they will turn north and go up the north/south alley to N Street (essentially going over the same path that La Colombe did a few months ago).
Andrea Gourdine from Douglas Development has already reached out to the immediately impacted businesses in Blagden Alley and a few of the residents. I am sending this for broader awareness and if the work directly impacts please contact Andrea to see if they can accommodate your concerns.
Work hours are notionally 9:30 to 3:30 PM Monday through Friday and the work will take 3-4 weeks to complete.
